Event Branding
4 colour risographed materials
lanyards, posters, badges

Event branding for the inaugural Graphic Design Educators’ Network (GDEN) conference, De-Brief, held at Salford University.

The conference was an invitation to an open inquiry of the brief, drawing on keynote provocations, an exhibition of printed briefs, and a selection of interactive, participant-focussed workshops to generate insights and inspiration through shared practice and perspectives.

This project needed a strong visual language to emphasise the purpose of the day, whcih was also the first GDEN conference. The artwork is a compilation of old briefs from our archive; scanning and distressing sections of these, overprinting them as multiple layers using the Risograph to create sections of randomised artwork – these were used throughout the event, for wayfinding and lanyards.
